Olive Quick Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
Cream cheese
3/4 c of milk
1 whole egg
1 c of olives (green); stuffed with pimiento
1 c of cheese (Colby or Cheddar); grated
1 c of nuts; chopped
1/4 c of sugar
2&1/2 c of bread mix (Homemade Crisco)
Instructions:
Preset oven (350 degrees F)
Mix together sugar, bread mix, cheese, olives and nuts. In another bowl, whisk the milk and eggs by hand. Add the egg mixture to the Crisco bread mixture and mix until moistened.
Pour batter onto nine by five by three inch bread pan then bake for an hour. Let it cool ten minutes then serve alongside cream cheese.
