Maple Nut Bread Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
2-1/2 c of flour
1/2 c of dry, Maple & Brown Sugar cereal (Malt-O Meal)
1-1/2 Tbsps of milk (dry)
1-1/2 Tbsps of sugar (brown)
1/2 c of pecans; chopped
2-1/2 tsps of yeast (active, dry)
1-1/8 c of water
1 Tbsp of vegetable oil
1-1/2 Tbsps of maple syrup (for pancake)
Instructions:
Place chopped pecans inside a (small) Ziploc bag; set on the side. Place yeast inside a (small) Ziploc bag; set on the side.
Combine flour, dry cereal, milk, and sugar inside a jar; place bags above the mixture then close the lid tightly. Store till needed.
Place ingredients onto the (bread) pan, according to the instructions and recommendations of the (bread) maker, save the pecans for last.
Place the pan onto the machine; select the “white” setting, preferred color of the crust, size of the loaf, and cycle for baking. Select option for delay then press “Start”. Add the pecans after its beep.
