Hearty Whole Wheat Bagels Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour
1 c of flour (whole wheat)
3-1/3 Tbsps of sugar (brown)
2 Tbsps of gluten
1 tsp of salt
3 1/4 tsps of yeast (active, dry)
1 1/8 c of water
Instructions:
Put the yeast inside a Ziploc bag; set on the side. Combine flours, sugar, gluten, and salt; mix them well then place inside an airtight jar. Place bag with yeast above the mix then close the lid tightly.
To use, place ingredients onto the (bread) pan, according to the instructions of the machine. Place pan inside the (bread) machine; select dough setting and the size of loaf.
Select all the desired settings then start the process. When the dough is done, follow the instructions on making bagels.
