Chocolate Syrup Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/3 c of powdered cocoa (unsweetened)
2-1/4 c of sugar (granulated)
1/4 tsp of salt (optional)
1-1/3 c of water (boiling)
1-1/2 tsps of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Combine sugar, salt, and powdered cocoa inside a saucepan. Gradually add (boiling) water while stirring continuously.
Place above moderate heat, while stirring occasionally, till slightly thick and smooth or about ten mins. Take out from the heat and add vanilla; stir thoroughly.
Pour the mixture onto a (3-cup) container and cover tightly. Store inside the refrigerator and use it within 10 to 12 weeks.
