Bran Flakes Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour (whole wheat)
1/2 c of non-fat powdered milk (dry)
1/4 c of oil
3 Tbsps of yeast (Brewers)
1 tsp of salt
1 Tbsps of molasses
2 c of bran
1 c of water
Instructions:
Combine flour, bran, milk, yeast, and salt inside a bowl. Add the oil, water, and molasses; mix thoroughly. Divide equally into 3 portions. Roll them out thinly onto greased baking sheets.
Place inside oven; bake, 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 mins or till crisp and slightly browned.
If dough hasn’t dried completely, turn oven off and leave it inside for mins or hr. Break to small bits and store inside a sterilized and airtight jar.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of mix (Master Muffin)
2 tsps of lemon juice
1 Tbsp of poppy seeds
1/2 c of milk
1/4 c of oil (vegetable)
1 cup vanilla or lemon pudding (4 oz)
1 whole egg
Instructions:
Preset oven 375 degrees F. Beat the eggs, oil, milk and pudding. Fold seeds in. Add the almond essence then lemon juice.
Stir muffin mixture in and mix ’till just moist. Grease two small muffin trays and fill each cup about three quarters up.
Bake thirteen minutes ’till tops are golden brown. Best when serve warm. Yields two dozen muffins.

Coffee Creamer – Amaretto Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c creamer (nondairy)
1 tsp of almond (extract)
1 tsp cinnamon powder
3/4 c sugar (powdered)
Instruction:
Mix the ingredients thoroughly and keep in well sealed jars. For Amaretto coffee, use two tbsps of the prepared creamer for every six ounces hot coffee.

Taco Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of tomatoes (canned)
1/2 medium-sized onion
1/2 tsp powdered oregano
1 garlic clove
2 pcs chilies (green)
dash of hot sauce (optional)
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
Instruction:
Mince garlic, chilies and onions then. Mix with tomatoes the mash (or blend) til smooth. Add in oregano, ground pepper, salt & a dash of hot sauce.

Snack Mix, Sweet & Salty Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c pretzels (sticks)
1/4 c unsalted peanuts
1 Tbsp butter or margarine; melted
1 Tbsp sugar or substitute
1 1/2 qrt popcorn (air popped)
1 c of crackers (Graham, honey flavored & bear shaped)
1/2 c of raisins
dash of cinnamon
Instruction:
Mix peanuts and pretzels in a bowl then pour butter (melted) and drizzle sugar or substitute. Stir well to allow even coating of the sugar (or substitute).
Add in crackers, popcorn and the raisins the dash with some cinnamon. Keep is well sealed jars.

Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsps of oil (vegetable)
3 whole eggs (separated)
2 c of water
2&1/2 c of cake mix
1&1/2 c of cake mix
1 c of water
2 Tbsps of vegetable oil
1 pc egg; slightly beaten
8 c of flour
2 tsps of salt
4 tsps of bicarbonate of soda
8 tsps of baking powder
1/2 c of sugar
2 c of powdered milk
Instructions:
For the buttermilk mix, mix together pioneered milk, eight cups of flour, half cup of sugar, eight teaspoons of baking powder, four teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda and four teaspoons of salt.
Place in ziploc bag or airtight container and write the date and contents in the bag.
To make the pancakes, mix together oil, one egg and one cup of water and add one and one half cups of the buttermilk mix. Set aside for five minutes. Prepare your griddle.
Ladle a third of a cup of the pancake batter on the griddle. Cook ’till bubbles are formed and edges are toasted. Flip to the other side and cook for forty seconds more. Repeat as with the rest of the batter. Yields one dozen pancakes.
To make the waffles, heat the waffle-iron. Mix together two and one half cups of buttermilk mix, two cups of water, three yolks then four tablespoons of oil.
Mix everything thoroughly. In another bowl, whisk the whites ’till stiff peaks form. Fold this in the waffle batter and then cook as per the instructions on the iron. Yield four waffles.

7 Up Pancake Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour (self-rising)
2 c of baking mix (Bisquick)
1/2 c of sugar (refined)
1/2 c of powdered creamer (non-dairy)
1 pc of egg (large)
8 oz of soda (7 Up)
1-3/4 c of the prepared mix
Instructions:
Combine flour, sugar, creamer, and baking mix; stir thoroughly. Place inside the refrigerator, covered tightly. Use the prepared mix within three months.
(To use the mix)
Place egg, soda, and the prepared mix inside the blender; blend till smooth, about a minute. Use one-third cup of the batter or mixture for one 6-inched pancake.

Healthier Baking Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of shortening
1/4 c of baking powder
2 tsps of cream of tartar
2.5 tsps of salt
1 c of powdered milk (non fat)
4 c of flour (white)
4 c of flour (whole wheat)
2 egg whites
1.5 c of water
2/3 c of water
Instructions:
Sift all the flour, powdered milk, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt (three times). Cut shortening in using pastry knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Place inside an airtight container.
To make pancakes, just mix together two whites (egg) and one and one half cups of water. Mix this in with two cups of your baking mix.
Ladle on a hot griddle then cook until bubbles are formed and edges are crispy then flip to the other side and finish cooking.
To make biscuits, preset oven (425 degrees F). To two cups of baking mix add two thirds cup of water. Mix until blended.
Knead dough on a slightly floured surface. Press into about three fourths inch thick then cut shapes using cookie cutters. Transfer to a greased baking tray. Bake for fifteen minutes. Yield a dozen biscuits.
