California Cornbread Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of melted butter
1 c of milk
1/2 c of sugar
2 whole eggs
1 pack bread mix (California Corn Bread)
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 c of corn meal
2 c of Bisquick baking mix
Instructions:
To make corn bread cake mix, mix together cornmeal, Bisquick mix, half cup of sugar and baking powder. Store inside zip lock bags or tightly closed containers.
To make the California Corn Bread, transfer corn bread mix inside a medium sized bowl. Add two eggs, one cup of milk, then half cup of melted butter.
Mix together then decant inside a buttered down baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for half an hour.
