Blackberry Vinegar Recipe
Ingredients:
Black berries
2 c of sugar
2&1/3 c of vinegar
2 tsps of cloves
2 tsps of all spice berries
2 pcs of cinnamon (sticks)
2 lbs of black berries
Instructions:
Break sticks of cinnamon to pieces. Wrap all spices in a cheesecloth tied using a string. Mix together sugar and vinegar then bring this to boil.
When sugar is dissolved, dunk in your spice pouch then boil mixture, then simmer five minutes. Afterwards, add black berries then simmer ten minutes more. Take off from fire then set it aside to cool.
When completely cooled, remove your spice pouch and run the mixture through a fine mesh sieve onto bottles. Seal then label. You can add more black berries in your vinegar if desired.
